Welcome to Supporting the Dogs of the Ierapetra Dog Shelter

The shelter is the municipality shelter of Ierapetra, which means that there are employees comming in the morning for feeding and cleaning and an employee or volunteer in the evening for giving medication to those who need it. The rest of the time, the dogs are alone. Please do definetly make an appointment with Elena before visiting the shelter. Unfortunately the shelter is not a place to just come around, cuddle dogs and take some pictures due to the lack of employees plus not all of them speak english, but if you consider adopting and bringing a huge change for the better into a dog's life, it is the place you should visit.
